Service Access & Management, Inc. is seeking a Director, an Administrative Assistant and 5 Service System Specialists for a Behavioral Health Administrative Unit (BHAU).

The BHAU will monitor the implementation and ongoing operation of the HealthChoices program on behalf of the Behavioral Health Alliance of Rural Pennsylvania (BHARP). The BHARP is the association of the 23 Counties comprising the North Central State Option Zone for HealthChoices implementation.

 

The requirements for the positions are as follows:

 

Director – This is a full time, exempt position located in Centre County. This person is responsible for the day-to-day operation of the BHAU; supervises all staff functions/activities/products, develops and implements policy/procedure/reports, and works in partnership with the BHARP, OMHSAS, and CCBH to develop a unified, comprehensive and responsive behavioral health system of care throughout the entire 23 county region.

 

This person should possess a Masters Degree in a behavioral health field and at least 5 years of management experience in behavioral health, including budget, contract and service system oversight responsibilities. Experience in rural counties is a plus.

 

Administrative Assistant – This is a full time, exempt position located in Centre County. This person, under the direction of the BHAU Director, is responsible for providing administrative support for the staff of the BHAU as well as for the Executive Board and the Committees of the BHARP

 

This person should have at a minimum an Associates Degree in a relevant field such as business administration/management or executive secretarial administration along with 3 years or more of experience as an administrative assistant. This person must also possess excellent customer service skills, and advanced skills in software applications including Word, Access, Excel, Power Point, Publisher and Crystal Reports.

 

Service System Specialists – These are full time, exempt positions that will be located regionally across the 23 county area of the BHARP. A person in this position monitors and analyzes the effectiveness of treatment and other in-plan services in the managed care network.  This person recommends system improvements and corrective action measures to the appropriate BHARP committees.  Additionally, this person meets with consumers, providers, base service units, county personnel, families and other system stakeholders to analyze service utilization, outcomes and quality data.

 

A person in this position should posses a Masters Degree in a behavioral health field with at least 5 years of experience in a behavioral health system. A combination of related education and experience may be substituted for a Masters Degree.
